So because of the experience i had with this shop I decided to camp in the Natahla nation forest again. And once again I had nothing but an awesome experience with this store. He remembered us from a year prior, which was awesome. If you are close you need to stop in and support this amazing family! The owners of this shop are fantastic. They are probably one of the nicest people I've ever met. Last Summer I was taking a motorcycle trip through North Carolina and they provided me with a good location to rest for the night. Their shop was a Site for Sore Eyes. Aside from the only gas station I saw in 50 miles they also had a small selection of food and souvenirs. Thank you guys so much for everything.
What an awesome little spot to visit! The owners are some of the nicest people you will meet! Whether you're just stopping to grab some gas or you're looking for a bite to eat, this is the place to go. I've received top notch service every time I've stopped in! There's a little bit of everything here, so be sure to browse the store a bit! If you're not in a rush, have a seat out front and mingle with the locals. I'm sure you'll learn some interesting history and might even be pointed in the direction of some awesome hidden gems to visit. Ken and Melissa are salt of the Earth! And they make some mean biscuits!!!
This store is amazing! Owner gave us great service from the moment we stepped through the door. He also told us about all the hidden gems of the area. Do to his advice on places to go in the area my family had a fanatic time there. I will be going back every time I am in the area!
We were trying to find a house we'd rented on Lake Santeetlah and Google maps sent us to the other side of Robbinsville and right into Thunder Mountain General Store. These people were so nice and had no problem giving us perfect directions that led us right to the house. Make sure to stop by here and check them out!
